Hennepin Tech and UMTC will host the fifth annual Network Summit!

Background:

¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to the general information page for this year's annual Educational Summit.  We are excited for this year's summit and look forward to seeing you October 7th and 8th!

The Network was established in 2007 to address the issues that affect the access and success of Latinos/as in higher education in Minnesota, The Network focuses on the concerns and successes of students, faculty, staff and administrators on our individual campuses and for the state overall. As our mission states, we  "support, promote and advocate for Latino success and advancement in higher education". The summit is our time to come together, develop an agenda and organizational priorities for the year, and have the space and time to know each other better and develop or increase our individual and collective strength and capacities.

Conference participants include:

  1. Professionals in all campus/service areas, including admissions, student life, financial aid, personnel, athletics, public safety, and alumni affairs
  2. Senior administrative officers at both campus and system levels
  3. Academic affairs administrators; deans and department chairs; program directors and staff
  4. Representatives of organizations and allies with a particular interest or role in higher education.
  5. Students and student organizations

Cost:

The minimal cost for attending the conference includes all food and beverages, including Friday social hour, Saturday light fare and Saturday lunch, and the dance on Friday evening.

  • Undergraduate Student:  $FREE
  • Graduate Student:  $FREE
  • Professionals (staff and faculty at colleges/universities):  25.00
  • Professionals with institutional support: $75
  • Community (other):  $25.00

Payment:

We prefer if you register and pay on line with a credit card (through Pay Pal)  or you can register on-site and pay with cash, check or PO.
