MN Latinos in Higher Education

The Network Executive Committee would like to explore presenting an organizational award or awards at the Summit in 2011.  This is a prime leadership opportunity for someone who wants to help create a new, prestigious award.  What behavior do we want to encourage in our membership? What does it mean to be an outstanding member of the Minnesota Network of Latinos in Higher Education?  Should we award individuals or institutions?  We want someone who is interested in framing the award criteria and working with the Executive Committee on the process of selecting initial recipient(s).   Do any of you want to get involved in getting this vision off the ground?
