Moral Theology – Tenure Track
The University of St. Thomas, a Catholic urban university with a strong liberal arts tradition, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Moral Theology.
The teaching load of three courses per semester involves some combination of the following: a first-level course, The Christian Theological Tradition (historically structured and centered on select primary texts); a second-level course, Christian Morality; and third-level theologically-based interdisciplinary courses. Applicants should have extensive knowledge of the Catholic tradition, be able to engage issues of Catholic moral theology, be interested in interdisciplinary teaching and learning, and be committed both to excellence in undergraduate teaching and ongoing research in their field.
Requirements: Doctorate preferred, ABD with a close completion date will be considered, some teaching experience.
