Neurobiology – Tenure Track

  The Biology Department at the University of St. Thomas (http://www.stthomas.edu/biol/) invites applications for a Tenure-Track position at the Assistant Professor level in Neurobiology, to start September 2009.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses at both introductory and upper-division levels, contribute to the leadership of an interdisciplinary neuroscience program, and engage in high quality research that involves undergraduates and that is competitive for external funding. Support will include significant start-up funds, lab space in a modern, well-equipped science facility, and a generous time allocation for research. Ph.D. is strongly preferred, but ABD will be considered; postdoctoral experience is also preferred.
