Application Analyst I
The University of St. Thomas, Controller's Office seeks an Application Analyst I.
This position helps operate the university's enterprise finance module, produce reports, and establish other Finance software systems by meeting with department personnel. The information generated by these systems will be used to prepare the university's audit report, budget documents, and other reports. This position will also provide technical support to the Business Office, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and other Business Affairs departments which includes the monthly production of student billing statements, 1098-T Tuition Payment statements, Appworx nightly chain maintenance, and project planning and implementation of technical initiatives. Cognos is used to create, design and run database reports. Qualifications: BA/BS in computer science or a related field and one year of related work experience; or equivalent experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, web development, and Java required. Some knowledge of Oracle, Cognos and Toad (an Oracle database management package) preferred.
