Food Service Cook

  The University of St. Thomas Food Service Department is accepting applications for a Cook. This position prepares and serves short order entrees to our customers in our retail operation.

This is a 9 month benefit eligible position.
Responsibilities include: prepare and cook meals for students, faculty and staff; work closely with staff and students; maintain clean work station and clean equipment; assist in other areas as needed.   Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in large-scale institutional food preparation and volume cooking. Prior short order cooking, pizza, grill, fryer, deli, pantry, and Asian cooking experience preferred.
