Marketing Manager

Salary: $41,228 - $48,504    Marketing Manager The University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business is accepting applications for a Marketing Manager in the Center for Business Excellence (CBE). This position plays an integral role in CBE by implementing effective marketing communications campaigns, ensuring the effective application of the Center's customer relationship management (CRM) software, and supervising a staff of marketing professionals.
In this position you will have direct responsibility for managing multiple promotional marketing activities, especially online marketing (including Web site management, search engine optimization, e-mail marketing, and online advertising) and direct mail campaigns; make recommendations regarding the most effective and efficient promotional methods available to achieve CBE's enrollment, revenue, and contribution margin goals; ensure effective application of the Center's CRM software as a marketing, program registration, and financial management tool.

Additionally, the CBE Marketing Manager will develop and manage relationships with both internal and external vendors who provide marketing-related services to CBE.

The successful candidate will possess a commitment to the ideals of this mission statement.   Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of marketing communications experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience required. Completed (or in-progress) Master's Degree and direct experience in online marketing and/or direct marketing preferred.

We are looking for candidates with knowledge of online marketing and/or direct marketing, including knowledge of data-mining techniques that can be employed to continuously increase the effectiveness of targeted marketing campaigns; exceptional organization, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong computer skills, with a proficiency in MS Office applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); considerable experience with using the Internet as a research and communication tool.
