Beinecke Scholarship
The Univeristy of Minnesota is offering a scholarship for outstanding juniors who wish to pursue a degree in the arts, humanities, or social sciences, and it's inviting students to enter the campus nomination process for the Beinecke Scholarship. The U of M is among a group of select institutions that may nominate students for these prestigious national scholarships, which provide up to $34,000 for graduate study.
Eligibility criteria: current Junior (defined as intending to graduate between 12/2008 and 8/2009); superior intellectual ability, scholastic achievement and personal promise; intend to pursue an M.A., M.F.A., or Ph.D. in the arts, humanities, or social sciences; U.S. citizen or national; documented history of receiving need-based financial aid.
