MN Latinos in Higher Education

The Latino academic support office (MCAE), the Department of Chicano Studies and La Raza Student Cultural Center will host a procession on Thursday Nov. 1.  Each group will have an altar dedicated to a Latino artist who has passed on.  We will process from one altar to the next ending with a poetry reading-Poesia de los Muertos at La Raza Student Cultural Center.  For those intersted and able, we will then go to the Walker Art Center to see the Frida Kahlo exhibit (free).
